Your depiction of Jonathan is just as I've always seen him: as someone who would describe himself as "a lover, not a fighter." I do have a quibble with your version of Ages, though: if both Christmases are set before the movie's events, why is he so friendly with the family? Just months after he played Santa, he'd be blunt and dismissive with Elizabeth when she came to him for Timmy's medicine.
