The following morning, in the valley-area not far from the
colony, a rocket-base appears like a mirage cast by Duke Nukem.
Hiding among the buildings are the Elite marines ready to meet
their enemy. High atop nearby ridges overlooking the valley
emerge the pirates like pop-up targets. Karnage orders his troops
to...

DON KARNAGE: Attack! <Fires blasts from his laser
sword>

Then yelling & screaming like the Confederate Rebels of the
Civil War, the mutants charge towards the base. Rising up the
Elite meet the attack and the wargames begin. Fists flying, feet
kicking the heroes and villians engage in combat until Chip
notices something i
wrong...

CHIP: Hold it, stop fighting! What in the universe is going
on

NICK: Scrap

NINA: Springs

LINK: Junk

CHIP: We've been had

DON KARNAGE: That's right Major, I was on your little scheme
from the start no? Did you think you could fool me by allowing
Ravage to escape, did you

CHIP: Go on captain, you're in the driver's seat

DON KARNAGE: While you and the Commandos have been fighting a
bunch of crash-test dummies. The real pirates have been at the
real rocket site. You've lost Chip, the pirates have won! <He
laughs wickidly>

CHIP: The race isn't over yet captain

DON KARNAGE: Oh it's over Hazard. You just don't know it.
<Again he laughs, then flies away leaving the Major staring
after him>

Even as he speaks, the mutants have arrived at the rocket-base
and help themselves to the stolen rocket fuel. Later the family
clan return to their hidden base, load up the cubes and fill up
the tanks to be ready for takeoff.

HOOK: Course back to Alpha Prime charted. Iron Vulture fueled
and ready for departure. What are your orders captain?

DON KARNAGE: Prepare for blastoff!

Back at Elite headquarters, the marines also prepare to launch
their suicide attack on the pirates base. Hazard wants to stop
Karnage from returning home to the future.

CHIP: We have come to a moment of truth. The pirates are in
position to return to Alpha Prime. We have no choice but to
attack them directly, but this battle may be most dangerous, so I
ask for volunteers. Lieutenant

BUTCH: Volunteers, step foreward!

Each soldier, including the rats raise their hands and step
forward. It appears everybody wants to help stop the pirates.

BUTCH: Commandos, transform! <Each soldier changes into
vehicular form> Start your engines. <Motors start
revving> Ready sir!

CHIP: Let's roll Elite! <He too morphs into his Big Rig
form>

Back at pirate headquarters, Karnage is thinking about his
victory over the Commandos.

DON KARNAGE: So close Hook.

HOOK: Iron Vulture ready for boarding.

DON KARNAGE: So very-very close to conquest yes-no?

Unseen by anyone, the convoy approaches the mountain
fortress.

CHIP: Hazard to Commandos, encircle the base!

Karnage is now ready to begin his conquest of the universe!

DON KARNAGE: Fellow pirates. It is time to return to Alpha Prime
and conquer the Commandos forever! <His goons shout the
victory cry> Board the Iron Vulture! <They begin climbing
the stairs>

At the same time, the Elite make their suprise move.

CHIP: Commandos, transform!

One by one the marines morph back into human-alien forms and
yelling like Union Federals of the Civil War rush the suprised,
startled mutants who cringe in fear. Seeing that they are under
attack, Karnage orders his clan to defend themselves.

DON KARNAGE: We are under siege! Pirates transform! <He
changes int
gun mode>

Scarlet, his wife grabs the gun, takes aim and starts firing
away at the oncoming marines. The other pirates counter-charge.
We now see a struggle between Bazooka and Smee.

BRICK: I owe you one from Rat-Dam Smee!

SMEE: You couldn't swim, what makes you think you can beat
me?

BRICK: Watch me! <Throws him to the ground>

Diving down from above, the Copy Cats, Kendo, Foxy & Scarlet
swoop down in jet-forms firing their weapons. At the same time
Karnage is about to open fire on Chip, but the Major double-taps
2 shots from his Pulse Laser Pistol knocking the sword from his
grasp.

CHIP: It's just you and me now captain.

DON KARNAGE: Then you better get some help major.

CHIP: Oh no, I've waited for this one chance.

Don screams, rushes him only to have Chip trip him up. Now the
leader of the Elite mocks the leader of the Pirates.

CHIP: Only one of us is going back Karnage!

DON KARNAGE: It won't be you Chip!

At the same time Ninjara is about to shoot at Hazard's backside
only to be distracted by Timmothy who uses his slingshot to send
a flying projectile that strikes the vixen, knocking the phaser
from her hands!

NINJARA: Hey! Who did that? <Whirls around to confront unseen
attacker>

Meanwhile Hazard slams Karnage to the ground, then towers over
him.

CHIP: You're finished captain. Call it off, call it off

DON KARNAGE: Never Chip! You won't stand a chance, you and
your Elite squad will be destroyed no?

Ravage jumps Hazard from behind, knocking him down and growls in
his face. Karnage gets back to his feet and shouts to his
crew.

DON KARNAGE: To the Iron Vulture!

He and his pirates rush back up the escalator or elevator to the
top of the ship. As the Commandos open fire, laser bullets
bouncing off the hull their enemy escape cleanly. Karnage slams
the hatch shut and makes his way onto the bridge.

DON KARNAGE: Blastoff!

HOOK: Commencing takeoff proceedures now.

Suddenly with a thundering noise, earth-shaking vibrations the
Iron Vulture rises into the sky. Shocked the Elite stare in
helpless anger watching their enemy climbing up and away into the
heavens. Hazard shakes his fist, screaming!

CHIP: KAAAAAAAAARNAAAAAAAAGE!!
